Corrections Policy
Last updated July 18, 2026
Valor Investigates corrects factual errors promptly when the record supports a correction. A correction request should identify the page URL, the specific sentence or data point at issue, the reason it is inaccurate, and the source material that supports the requested change.
Correction requests are reviewed against the underlying files: public records, court filings, agency letters, emails, source documents, archived pages, or other verifiable materials. If the published item is wrong, the page is updated and a correction note is added when the change is material to the reader's understanding.
Minor fixes such as spelling, broken links, formatting, or typographical cleanup may be corrected without a formal note. Material changes involving names, dates, vote totals, source characterization, legal status, allegations, or conclusions should receive a visible note describing what changed.
Send corrections to info@valorinvestigates.com. Tips and new evidence should use the tips page. Legal demands or privacy requests should identify the exact URL and the legal basis for the requested action.

Update notes were added to “Published 65 Miles Away” and “Before You Vote”. Both articles described a motion to set aside the term-limits judgment as pending and the La Grande Observer as legally qualified to publish the notice. The OECI docket records that on May 4, 2026, the court denied the motion and found the Observer “did not qualify” as a notice publication in April 2025. No appeal was filed; the case is closed. The articles are preserved as published, with the update note mounted above each.
